COMPARING CURRENT BEAU,EXES

Nowadays, all I ever blog about revolves mostly around-friends,love and parties.
AS IF that's all I ever think about.
Right.

You know how the cycle works.When you're with someone, you compare yourself to the ex.Or when your ex gets together with someone,you'll check out the current beau too!You wonder who's better-looking,who's nicer in terms of character.You do the whole comparision thingy via friend(s) opinion/ hearsay. Trying to seek assurance and comfort that you're indeed better.Better off without yer ex.That it's really THEIR loss, not yours.Somehow, recently the people I get together with, seem to hold their ex in high regard. Its like the ex set a standard there. You know everyone's different. You shouldn't compare. But you can't help but feel they prefer someone just like that highly regarded ex. Someone who totally understands 'em. THAT takes time. It doesnt happen just like that.

I wondered why we get together (SORTA) in the first place.You said you didn't exactly GO fer me. It just... happened. Ouch. I know we are both hurting A LOT. But does seeking solace in each other a strong enough reason to keep us together? Its like we are trying to help each other to feel happier ; and not feel the hurt. In other words, making use of each other. Everytime *he is mentioned, I feel so affected and worked up. Though I try my best to hide it away; like it doesnt matter to me anymore. Same goes for that someone.

But really.What's the point of being together when both parties aren't willing to give too much into the r/s ?In a way, its good that we won't get too hurt. Guess it would be really unfair for the party who puts in too much. Whatever it is, its still "GO WIT THE FLOW". Till then...
